Love the Lord your God with all our heart, all your mind, and with all your strength.

Love the Lord your God with all our heart, all your mind, and with all your strength.

Jesus in Luke 10:27 explains how we are to love God with all our heart, all our mind or soul, and with all our strength.

We know that we are created in the image of God, and God is spirit. We are a spirit, we have a soul and we live in a body. Jesus tells us here: love your God. He does not say “serve” your God, however, we know that this love will lead us, therefore, to serve Him also with all our heart.

God is not only interested in our spirit being saved or to have fellowship with Him and be aware of His indwelling presence. Beyond all this, God wants us to love Him with all our mind, this means that our mind must be the mind of Christ and reflect the thoughts of God.

Love him with all our strength, means to involve Him in everything we do… when we are working, while serving in the church or in any work in society where God has placed you.

Today we want to encourage you to remember this purpose, examine yourself within and ask yourself, “Do I love God in all these areas? Is everything I do is for God’s sake? What things occupy my mind during the day? Am I really loving God as Jesus teaches us?” God wants us to love passionately and to honor and serve Him in everything we do, think, and feel.

Blessings.
