History

Over the years, the vision to inspire a community that would become a force in shaping society, was ignited in the lives of Kees-Jan and Candy de Maa. After years of preparation they started the University for Societal Architecture in March of  2015.  At the moment, the community of Societal Architects is composed of leaders from more than 19 countries, who are already impacting their sphere of influence in significant ways. In such a short period of time we are seeing people taking action and implementing their God-given blueprints.

Kees-Jan and Candy de Maa are dedicated to inspiring and equipping others so they can do what inspires them. They believe that every human being was created with a purpose, unique gifts and talents that are necessary contributions to our world. As we collaborate with others, together we can discover, design, shape and implement the designs that will help the different cultures flourish. 

Since 1981 Kees-Jan and Candy have served as youth leaders, co-pastors, pastors, supervisors and teachers in different bible schools. They started and directed the first Christian TV network in the Canary Islands, Spain, helped other ministries and businesses develop Media Ministries like Radio and TV and online training programs.  They lead their itinerant ministry called Fulfilling Destiny Ministries and speak and minister internationally as a team. They provide coaching and covering through their International Network of Alignment.

Kees-Jan and Candy have been married since 1985 and have 2 children, Jonathan, who married Mitzi, and Melody Joyce who married Jeziel. All children are actively involved in ministry and the university.

Kees-Jan runs a multimedia company that provides advice, consulting, and multimedia productions.

They have created complete seminars and hundreds of hours of online teaching and training material for the equipping of the believer in his/her vocational call of God.

In 2015 Kees-Jan, Candy and their dedicated team launched the University for Societal Architecture with the mission to inspire, equip, and connect societal architects who have a passion to rise to their highest and best contribution in the place where they have been called in this world.
